Who are we?

Alba Marcos discovered the GYROTONIC® method in 2007 in New York while studying dance. She immediately became passionate about a unique and complete methodology and completed the training to become an accredited teacher. She returned to Barcelona with the conviction that she had found a method that brought together her three passions, dance, teaching and physiotherapy.

In 2008 Alba creates Estudi Bonavista and starts teaching GYROTONIC® classes in a small room of her apartment in the Gracia neighborhood. With her passion and hard work she manages to gain the loyalty of a growing clientele and in 2010 the studio moves to Martínez de la Rosa street in the same neighborhood of Gracia. His continuous training in the method allows him to expand the offer and so he introduces new machines and classes of GYROKINESIS®.

In 2019 the studio moves to a larger space in the same street and GYROTONIC® Barcelona Gracia is born. Currently the center has all the GYROTONIC® machines, teaches GYROKINESIS® classes and completes its services with physiotherapy. It is also the official certification center for new teachers in Spain and has a large team of professionals, all trained by its founder.

In 2020 Alba Marcos receives recognition from the GYROTONIC® community and is named master trainer.

In 2022 and due to the demand from new clients, he is looking for a new space in Barcelona and opens a new studio, GYROTONIC® Barcelona Bonanova.

History

Estudi Bonavista started in a small room in an apartment in the Gràcia district of Barcelona. Thanks to the impulse of its clientele, in 2010 it opened a new studio in Martínez de la Rosa street, in the same neighborhood of Gràcia. A place with new facilities, new machines and much more space for group classes of GYROKINESIS®. This meant a whole series of changes aimed at offering a better service, quality care and wider treatment possibilities.

Purpose of the studies

Estudi Bonavista is a center specialized in personal training based on the GYROTONIC®method, GYROKINESIS®and Physiotherapy.

The center was born after the search of its director, Alba Marcos, to find a system that would bring together and allow her to work with her three passions, which are dance, teaching and physiotherapy.
