Frequently Asked Questions
What are the differences and similarities between the two disciplines?
LGYROTONIC®and GYROKINESIS®are included in the GYROTONIC EXPANSION SYSTEM®method. Both share the same benefits that are experienced from the first session.
For GYROTONIC®we use machines specially designed for this work that facilitate:
- three-dimensional work (in all planes of joint movement)
- suspension (anti-gravity) and no joint impact.
- traction (helps us to create space and decompress the joints and then muscle during movement).
- Resistance to facilitate both strengthening and stretching.
Within the system there are 5 different machines to stimulate the body's work.
- Pully tower CombinationUnit®. It is the "base" machine that guides you from the beginning and has infinite combinations and exercise possibilities (You will never get bored in a gyrotonic® class).
- Jumping StreachingBoard® (Play with instability and imbalance)
- Archway® uses gravity and your own body weight.
- Leg ExtensionUnit® awakens the use of strength without losing all other sensations.
- Gyrotoner® allows working in all possible planes of movement.

This is not our goal. Our goal is a body without pain, relaxed and with full mobility. It is true that with postural correction many clients mention feeling like they have grown and that their body shape has changed.
